INDUSTRIAL SUPERVISION
Running an automated plant requires a Human Machine Interface (HMI), an operator interface that the operator can use to supervise the plant activities and request different processes.
This is achieved by implementing a specific Plant Supervision System based on Personal Computers, Panel PCs and Operator Panels which allows the plant layout and P&I, statuses, alarms and data to be displayed in real time. Tekna Automazione e Controllo provide supervisory systems using the main SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) software packages available on the market, such as Siemens TI Portal, Rockwell RS Studio, Omron, Movicon, Wonderware Aveva System Platform, InTouch Genesis, IFIX General Electric interfacing them to the P.L.C. and the Automation elements of the plant.
Supervision of liquid, granular, solid and muddy non-hazardous special waste treatment plant
The supervision was carried out in the Siemens TIA Portal environment and provides for the management of the automation of the overall plant and of the packages that make up the plant itself. The treatment is carried out according to the recipe, according to the parameters supplied by the laboratory, which defines the phases, the type, the quantity of products and the times. The process consists of a washing of the contaminated soil, a granulometric selection of the washed materials and, lastly, a chemical-physical treatment of the aqueous/muddy part with recovery of the washing water.

The line provides for the automatic loading of the panel, in the different dimensions and thicknesses, for their transversal and longitudinal cutting, for the creation of portholes on board the panel, for the housing of the handles and for the accessories, all with recipe management. The milling station consists of an anthropomorphic ABB robot on whose arm an electric spindle with milling cutter is mounted. The automation is made with P.L.C. Siemens S7-1500, Siemens G120 inverters and axis controls and supervision is obtained with SCADA Siemens TIA Portal.
